Offer Letter

I got a call last week Friday with an offer from Intrado. Yeah! The offer was lower than I expected so I countered and have been waiting to hear back from them. Boo! They claim that my lack of software education prohibits me from a higher salary. I think that is bogus and just an excuse to keep the salary low. I was told they would get back in touch with me on Monday, but have not heard from them yet. However, my ex-Lockheed co-worker talked to the manager today about my status and the manager said they were sending me an offer letter that should arrive this Friday. I guess I'll just wait until then to see if they were able to come up on the offer. Hopefully it did not go down :-).
