We had a good Mother's Day weekend. Hope you all had a good one as well. Kristen went to a simulcast for Moms on Saturday at our church. They had some good speakers and Kristen reported having a good time. Our church also provided lunch as well.
While Kristen was doing that, I took the kids to Walmart to get Mother's Day cards, flowers, and other stuff. The first card Kaela saw was a Cinderella card and, of course, it is the one we got for her. Imagine saying Cinderella with your tongue sticking out the left side of your mouth. Sounds like, "La-la-la-la". Now add one more "la" at the end. "La-la-la-la-la". That is how Kaela says, "Cinderella".
While looking for cards, we saw a Hank the Cowdog book. I offered to buy it for Corban and he, with slight hesitation, agreed. We've been trying to get him to branch out from his Harry Potter/Star Wars fetish. He started reading it right away and says it is good and is planning on getting another one from the library when finishing this one. However, he just bought "Pirates of the Caribbean" so it might be a while before he gets back to Hank.
We decided to wait until Monday to go out to eat which worked out well because Kristen wanted to go to Cinzetti's and kids eat free on Monday. Cinzetti's was good, but Kaela was not. She has really been having trouble lately. She is throwing some nasty fits when she does not get her way! Thankfully it was loud in the restaurant and she did not causing that much of a disturbance :).
