As I was heading it to work today, I noticed that the valley between our house and the mountains was swimming in a sea of fog. In the background were the snow-covered mountains with the sun glinting off the snow crystals. Even though I'm not a big fan of the snow, it sure is clean and beautiful.

Speaking of snow, we had movie night last night and moved our Family night to tonight. We watched March of the Penguins, a documentary about Emperor penguins. We had heard raving reviews about the movie, but it was just a documentary. It was good, but not "raving" ;-). The scenes of the ice and snow and blue water were really gorgeous. However, Karis got bored and ended up going to bed in the middle of the movie.
