Morning Excitement!

Corban and Karis were wrestling around this morning when Corban somehow got his fingernail bent backward. He hollered out, "Karis! You really hurt me!" He was quiet for a moment before the tears started. Then, he turned to Kristen (who had not thought much about the incident up to this point) with an anguished face and tears and said "My vision is going black." He started to get onto the bed, but since he looked so white, Kristen steered him towards the bathroom. Corban decided to rinse his finger with water, which caused more pain. He yelled, "Ow!", which got Kristen's attention again. She stepped into the bathroom just as Corban got very still and started to swoon. Kristen caught him before he fell and he started making those passed out gurgling noises. She carried him to our bedroom while blowing in his face and saying, "Corban! Wake up!" Then, all the sudden, Corban jerked and said "Ow! My finger! What happened?" He then closed his eyes and got real quiet again. Kristen laid him on the bathroom floor and rubbed him with a wet rag until he started feeling better again. As he was sort of waking up again, he pointed to Kristen's pajama pants and said, "Mom, is that yellow?" He was wondering if he was seeing right after his vision scare. Scary way to start the day!

Corban's set a good pace to pass his Dad for the number of times one passes out in their life. He's already passed out twice and he is only 7!?! I guess I'll need to start giving blood again!
