Jury Duty

Kristen had to attend jury duty today. She tried to get out of it, but the summons did not really provide a viable way out. So, she was hoping that she would only be at the courthouse for a couple hours at most due to being a housewife, no kids in child care and home schooling. Apparently they don't care much about housewives and she was selected to serve and had to stay all day and will have to go back again tomorrow and who knows how many days this will last. Fortunately, my parents are here this week, so they were able to watch the children. I am not really for sure what we would have done without them here.

They arrived on Saturday without any "exciting" travel news. They did stop and the giant wind-driven electricity generators south of Lamar and took some pictures. Apparently, someone has started a collections of old windmills on that land the my dad wanted to see up close. Windmills intrigue my dad.

I was planning on taking tomorrow off and go to RMNP, but now I'm going to postpone until Thursday so Kristen will be able to go as well.
