Sippies

We reached another milestone in our family. Kristen just threw away all our sippy cups. No more babies in our family. Well, she actually is keeping one in case we have some friends over that need to use one.

I've been happy lately not to deal with sippy caps as they come out of the dishwasher. It's a little known fact that 95% of the time the caps retain water, and 99.99% of the time end up spilling on dry utensils. This causes 85% of males to fling the utensils across the carpet to dry the utensils quickly. Only 5% of males are caught by their spouses using this drying method and continue to use this drying method until caught. The analysts were surprised to learn that 100% of caught males told their wives they would never use this technique again, but 97% admit they still do it.

Hey, Rho,

You know that there is an easier, but not as fun, solution to the water retention in sippy cup lids, don't you - unload the dishes in the bottom FIRST. That way if the water spills, it won't spill on dry dishes. Revolutionary idea, don't you think!

Love, Mom

I was referring to those clear, plastic pieces that go in the lids to allow fluid to flow through them, but not leak. Those are the things that always retain the water.

I've figured out to unload the bottom first, making sure to get all dry items out first before trying to handle the wet ones :).
