I Survived the Group Ride

The rain held off today and I was able to do the group ride. For the
first time I stayed with the lead group for the entire ride. My saving
grace was a stop sign that slowed the front guys down and let me catch
back on. I had gotten caught at the back as the lead group sped up and
guys were dropping off the back that I was using to draft. I had to
race around those guys and just about died trying to catch back up. I
would not have made it except for the sign.

Then, on the next stretch of road 4 guys crashed. One guy broke the
fork on his bike and another guy kept getting nausious when he stood
up. They both got rides home. Cycling is more dangerous than
climbing!!
